To graph an ellipse from an equation in standard form, center the circle at the x-coordinate: the opposite of the number being added to x in parenthasees and y-coordinate: the opposite of the number being added to y in parenthasees. Then graph the verticies and the asymptotes by drawing a box centered at the center of the hyperbola with dimentions of 2a and 2b. Draw a the hyperbola from the vertices that best fits the asymptotes.
